Any thought of interfacing with the Performancing Extension from Firefox so that one could enter posts through the interface?

What external APIs does blog support?  I'm currently testing MS Office 2007 beta and looking at the Blogging functionality and wondering if the dnn weblog has any ATOM or other API that Word 2007 can talk to.
