I am preparing to upgrade from DNN 4.9.0 to 5.1.0.  I have created a default installation of 5.1.0 to test some of the new functionality.  I am currently looking at the Blog Module 3.5.1.  I have created a page and added the Blog Module to it.  When I try to drop down the Actions Menu on the View_Blog module nothing shows up, not even the standard Actions Menu Items (Settings, Delete, Move, etc.).  Is this a bug or have I got something configured incorectly.

It's a bug in the module.  I forget the specifics, but many are awaiting the next release that fixes this.  I think using an earlier version of the blog won't fix the problem either, it's something to do with a menu provider conflict in DNN 5, I tried several older versions of the blog and the menu problem remained.  It's an odd problem, for some the menu appears in odd places on the page and jumps around.  I've had both, no menu and the jumping menu.  Anyway, not sure of the expected release date for the next blog release, it's been 7 months or so since the bug was first reported (Dec 2008).  You might do some googling to see if anyone has a workaround that you can implement until the next upgrade release.
