I’m new to DNN and trying to set up a DNN web site locally before deploying to my web host. All was going well and then I add the Blog Module. I can add and search the blogs but when I click on comments or the link to the posted blog under Read More…  (Both of these are in the View_Blog container) I get an error.
 
I’m using DNN 5.1 with VWD 2008 on Vista Business Edition
 
I get this error:
 
IIS 7.0 detailed error 404.0 not found
Server Error in Application "DEFAULT WEB SITE"
 
 
HTTP Error 404.0 - Not Found
The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

I’d be grateful for any help – have spent a lot of time looking for a solution on line but nothing quite fits.

Hi I'm still not having any luck with this problem.  But I'm managing to get the link connected correctly by typing in the URL.

Here is a bit of an over view:

The View_blog is missing the action menu.

 I’ve used a work around (posted in one of the threads) to get the module options up on the screen.
 
The Blog_Archive and Search_blog and Blog_List and New_Blog are all working fine (alway were).
 
I can add a Blog and also add Blog entries. The list of Blogs appears fine.
  
But, still if I click  from within View_Blog on any of the following:  read more … link / comments/ Blog entry name  then I get a page not found error.
 
I’ve looked up the entry ID in the database and manually added it to the end of the URL then it works - I can the add comments and see the full blog entry as well as the comments.  But once I go back to the page with the blog module I still have the same problem.
