Hi

I've a problem with the wrong link to the main blog page.

The summaries looks allright (http://ihaklai.org.il/tabid/83/Default.aspx)

but when clicking on any headline in order to see the blog text - you get bad request (http 400 bad request in IE, unproper link in FF, too many redirects in GC)

opening new blog and adding new posts are perfectly fine.

pls help....

Hi Eran,

This is probably a result of the SEO Friendly URL option in Module Options.  Try unchecking this option since the characters in your title are used in the URL if the option is checked and your title contains unicode characters which may be causing problems with the browsers you've tested.

HTH,

Don

Thanks for the tip, but this issue needs to be fixed. We're dealing with it as well on DNN 4.9.4 and the latest blog module. It's a serious problem and makes the blog module unuseable. We can't just disable friendly links as a workaround.

I've examined all our blog titles and I can't see any commonality to why some cause a redirect loop and others don't. Titles with no special characters at all (just standard letters) sometimes cause redirect loops and sometimes don't. Question marks seem OK, and hyphens are OK sometimes and not others. Seems like there's an underlying issue.
