I am getting an error from dnn blog:

Here it is:

Error: Create new Blog is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DotNetNuke.Modules.Blog.EditBlog.UpdateBlog() --- End of inner exception stack trace ---I

I am using 5.01 dnn and it is install on localhost.  I am using blog 3.5.01 and I am using IIS 6.

 

Any hel would be greatly appreciated.

Were you able to resolve this? I am getting this error and I can't find much help on it.

Same. DNN 5.4.2 and Blog v4.1 Can't create new blog, nor save post after editing it with the RAD editor. All permissions look fine.

I've deleted the pages, modules and made sure the sequence of installs is 'crisp'. The 'host' added the first blog account, and all seems to work now for 'normal' members to add blogs and posts, BUT...
I then noticed that I have to check the
[ ] Display Copyright notice at the bottom of your entry.
in order to submit an edit to a post. Hmmm
Nothing updates without changing the state of the check or uncheck.
Anyone else?
