Apologies if this is answered.

I'm using DNN as a VLE for my students.  They must now complete a weekly blog.  The blog should be visible to them and to a group called Lecturers.  If their blog is public then everyone can see it.  If it is not public then they can't even see it, nor can an administrator.  It is only visible to the host account.  Is this the way it is meant to be or have I configured it incorrectly.

I'm using the latest version of the blog available here.

Hi John I never did get it working as I wanted so I gave up and bought the Ventrian News Articles module. It does what I want in a round about kind of way.
