This sounds as would be the same function in the module responsible for this.

Question is: do you see the wrong date in the VIEW_BLOG or, as i do, only in the ARCHIVE and RECENT_ENTRIES module?
As mentioned earlier, the wrong date is in the Database as well, but VIEW_BLOG shows the correct date, as the only one.

So there are two major issues:
- the date problem itself, with a malfunction like this the blog module is unusable
- the strange behaviour with showing another date than in the Database listed

Now it's getting really weird....

I deinstalled the blog module 4.0.0, installed 3.5.1 (as i remembered that i never had problems with it), made some test-entries, saw that everything is showing correctly as desired....and thought to myself, what i should do now.
OK, being brave is one alternative.
So i made an upgrade again to blog 4.0.0 without deinstalling the old blog module and guess what? Everything is fine now!!!!

The heck with it! It's running....
