Does the module support html/css templates? A sub template under the DNN main template? I want to change the look of the module.

If you want to change the CSS I would suggest you change the Blog's css located under /DesktopModules/Blog/module.css. Please also be aware that this gets overwritten when you upgrade, so make sure you backup and merge when you decide to upgrade. HTH.

Actually, it's also easy to include the styles in your skin.css of your skin package and then you don't have to worry about it getting overwritten by upgrades of the blog or dnn. You may have to add the "!important" element in the class settings to get them to override the module.css settings.

Also, the blog module still has hard-coded, inline styles applied which can't be overridden. Also, version 4 updated the class names to be W3C valid, so style/class names that worked in earlier versions don't work in the newer blog versions. Hopefully, they will continue to update the module and eventually have all the inline styles stripped out so we can truly style the blog modules with only the appropriate style sheets and classes. Or perhaps allow for theming that doesn't get overwritten during upgrades, something like the Events module (hint, hint).

@Rick - I know that "theming" or "templating" or whatever you want to call it is on the backlog of items to be added in the near future.  The team is currently working on a minor release that will hopefully have a short-term solution to the problem which will allow the blog admin to add arbitrary CSS and JavaScript files to a folder in their Portals folder.  These javascript and css files will be added to the rendered page and will allow you to override the default CSS of the module.  This will also make it easy to add support for SyntaxHighlighter or any other JavaScript/CSS plugins you would like to add to your blog.

 Hello.

I think the Blog module has a lot of small problems that need to be addressed. Some are logged to Codeplex some posted here. This module seems kinda neglected, like other modules also.

The Blog module also need a total rewrite at some point, to support many needed features, like multiple Blog instances etc etc ...

This post isn't gonna make me popular, but i mean well since i use DNN myself and i like it a lot.
