I was trying to setup a blog contributor so they can use the new Windows Live Writer program.

The setup went smoothly and they can edit and add new blog posts very nicely with the DNN 5.0 Blog module. However, the only problem we are having is the feature to "download blog theme" in Live Writer keeps failing to work. It starts to do work and creates a temp blog entry, but then it churns for about 2 mins, and then comes back with an error that it couldn't download the theme.

I looked through the error log for WL Writer, and this is what I'm seeing.

Any thoughts?

Same here. One installation will allow it, and then slightly different modules 4.0 vs 4.1 and dnn 5.4 vs. dnn 5.6 and WLW likes one, not the other. I bet it has to do with the combo of the skin and the version, as even a site that had the WLW theme in place, lost it when I had done a version upgrade from 4.0 to 4.1
