How would I set a Blog module to initially show ONLY the posts in a specific Category?  As a rudimentary example, say I have a page about cars, and I would like only entries in the "Cars" category to show in the module on that page by default...

If it would be more easily facilitated with Child Blogs ( which are now superseded by Categories ), how would I do it that way?

The end goal is to have two "separate" blogs run on the same site, and only showing the applicable contents on each page.  I don't have to restrict access to the other blog; I just don't want it to show initially.

I apologize if I missed this answer somewhere else. I've spent the last hour searching the web and looking over documentation to no avail.  Thanks in advance for your help.

Well, apparently I am going to answer my own question... for the people that come behind.

It does not appear that you can automatically filter on Categories, but that isn't exactly what I wanted, anyway.  The way to get separate blogs on separate pages is to create a new USER for each one.  You can then go to your "Cars" page and click Module Options for the View_Blog module, scroll down to Advanced Settings, and set the "Personal Blog Page" option to the blog for that user.  Then, that page will only display the blog posts that you want to show.

It's not quite what I was looking for, being that you have to log in as a different user to post to that blog, but it achieves the end result that I wanted.

Hope it helps.  Questions welcome.
