Hi folks,

Having a problem with the blog module not sending emails for posted comments (all other email sending works). Client is running DNN v05.05.01 and Blog v04.01, and we've done a couple of upgrades, so I'm sure something got FUBAR'd by this point.

I'd like to try and export all the blog content, reinstall the module and import all the content to try and diagnose the issue...

BUT, I have yet to find a way without generating custom SQL scripts to do so. My client's hosting company does not allow direct MSSQL access, so I am a bit disarmed... I've tried logging in as host and the account that owns the blog, but neither have an "Export Content" menu option like the rest. Am I right in assuming there is no "clean" way to do this?

if there is no "Export Content" menu item, the module does not support the necessary interface. But to be honest, I don't expect reinstall to fix your issue. Please double check the settings for the module and the administrator account. Do you get other portal notifications (registration, password update, ...) sent without issues?

Sadly, that is what I figured. All other emails are working fine (feedback, SMTP test from Host panel)...

I've done an install of the most up-to-date Blog module twice, but still no email alerts or errors in the event log.
