Hi

Did you managed to get the blog working, as I cannot get it set so when a uesr logs in they can create a nerw blog entry.

No luck here. Seems silly, I've modified the security roles for each of the Blog modules on the page to EDIT for Registered Users ( has alwasy worked in the past ).  Even with that done, the page is displayed with NO blog modules, or any other modules for that matter.

I admit, it's been some time since I've worked wth the DNN Blog module... but I've never seen this behavior before.

For my setup, I'm running (2 sites) clean installs of DNN 5.6.2 with DNN 4.1.0.

One thing that seems different from what I normally do is turn on Online Users under Host Settings and have placed the Users Online module on the home page.  Also, I have MOVED the Blogs Recent Entries and Blog Recent Posts from the Blog Page to the Home Page. Don't know if that's an issue. With that said, the home page renders correctly with the two recent blog modules working for both registered logged in users and non logged in users. Still the Blog page does not display for logged in registered users.

Hi

I will spend some time on it today, I read somewhere on this forum that this version of the blog has issues like what we are expierencing and that an older version of the blog works, wished I had kept a copy of the link now, I will let you know how I get on.

Made a little headway, I re-installed the blog module so I was working from a fresh copy, the only setting I changed was the permissions for the create my blog section, I set the permissions for registered users to allow view module and edit module, then it worked.

The major concern is setting it to edit module, which gives access to registered users to modify the module, which is not a good idea, so there must be a way around that.
