Running DNN 6.01.02 with blog module 4.1.1 (tried installing blog 5.0.0 and keep getting errors)

I am trying to add categories in which to place my blog posts. Things I've tried so far:

- Adding child blogs (this adds child blog, not a category)
- Adding a list of categories in Taxonomy
- Checked all settings on the 'Blog settings' link (I can't see anything relating to categories)
- Clearing DNN cache

The list of categories is still not appearing in the blog post edit screen.

Any ideas? :-)
