Folks,

I was running version 4.1.1 so far. Today, on Google search, I saw that 5.0 version is available. I installed the new one. After the installation, now Iget an error "A critical error has occurred. Object reference not set to an instance of an object."

Event viewer shows that the error occurs at DoNEtNuke.UI.Containers.ActionButtonList.get_ModuleActions().

Can someone please tell me what I should do?

I wish I had done a backup before upgrading the extension.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Regards,
Peter

I am on version 7.0.2 of DNN.

I uninstalled and reinstalled 5.0 version of the Blog. This seems to have fixed the problem for me.

Regards,
Peter

Luckily, I did not. It appears the uninstall part just removes the files and the links but does not remove anything from the database. This helped me this time around. But I have learned my lesson. Next time, I will make a complete backup before adding any new extension to the host.

Regards,
Peter
