Hi, i have old custom made blog which i want to migrate to DNN Blog module.

i am looking for some SQL script which will help me migrate old custom blog database records and insert into dnn blog tables ...

or is there any other better way to migrate than please let me know about it

The new Blog version 6.0 supports the standard BlogML language for importing old blog data. I have not tried it, but the manual talks a little about it:

The blog module includes the ability to import and export a blog in the

standard BlogML format. This is an XML standard designed for blogs. Note

this includes embedded images, so expect these files to grown in size if

you’ve used images extensively.

So if you could get your old data into this XML standard format, it could work. More info on the new version is at: https://dnnblog.codeplex.com/

thanks for the tip 

i didnt know that we could import by xml in the blog and i could export records in xml but still required to know the required form of XML for importing

thanks i will look into import to blog modules in more detail
