My blog module is used on an internal Intranet site, so I think it will confuse the readers if they can post a link to the social websites of Facebook, Google+ and Twitter with the icons that currently occurs on the blog, I mean these:

<a href="#" class="blogicon-facebook socialicons facebook"></a>
<a href="#" class="blogicon-twitter socialicons twitter"></a>
<a href="#" class="blogicon-google-plus socialicons googleplus"></a>

How can  I disable them?

I haven't used the latest blog, so I am unsure if there's a configuration option to do this.  If there is, you should use that.  Alternatively, the best option would be to add CSS references to hide these from your user in your skin or in your Portal.css as a last resort (also found in the Admin > Site Settings > Stylesheet Editor).  An example CSS selector to do this is below.

.socialicons { display: none; }

That will hide them all, but since that is nearly a common name, I'd personally prefer to target them individually to be safe as shown below.

.blogicon-facebook, .blogicon-twitter, .blogicon-google-plus { display: none; }

Thanks a lot Will!

It worked just fine with adding that to the CSS file!

This newest version of the blog module is more and more starting to become my favorite part of the whole DNN solution, it just look so good and professional!

My pleasure. It's great to hear that you like that module.  I personally love to hear that kind of feedback, but so would the rest of the community.  It would definitely help the developers if you were to help them promote the module here in the forums, twitter, facebook, or wherever you feel comfortable sharing with other community members.  :)
