I'm in the process of upgrading a DNN 6.2 site to 7.4. Most is done (i.e., site is at 7.4.1, and most other extensions) but I'm still figuring out how to approach the Blog upgrade from 4.1.1. to 6.0.5. (Finally got a copy working locally which will allow for more experimentation.)
Anyway, I duplicated a blog page and foolishly said copy the content, not use a reference or new instance of the modules. As a result all my blogs got duplicated. Here's a look at the SQL table now:
The bottom half of the table is evil and needs exorcism.
I'm not so comfy using SQL, but am wondering if I can just delete the duplicate blogs in this table, or if I have to go into the Blog Entries table and delete half of those blog entries too - maybe anything with blog entries # 7-11? Anyone have some SQL to accomplish this?
Any other ramifications to other tables or strategies?
THANKS for any guidance!
(I can go back to a backup, but would lose some unrecorded - but fairly minor - updates.)
