When using the Category List template, any time a post is assigned a category the number of posts indicator for that category does not reflect that a new post was added to the category.

If the site's cache is cleared through the tools menu then the number will then update to the correct number.

Is there a way to disable this caching for the category list or just the blog module and not the whole site? Or is it possible to set a schedule task for just the blog module so that it's automated to clear the category list cache. I don't want to have to clear the entire site cache every time a new post is added, whether it's a manual clear or the schedule task clear.
