I did a fresh install of DNN8 to test out some things before committing to an upgrade and have run into problems with the blog module. When I go into the blog page to set it up I get the following error.

Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Fred,

Are you using the latest release of the Blog module (https://github.com/DNN-Connect/DNN-Bl...)? This is the one that should have fixed problems with DNN 8.0.0.

If yes: I think this is due to a change in the .Net Framework - had the same problem with some of my modules. Please submit this issue to the issues of the Project Site: https://github.com/DNN-Connect/DNN-Bl... (if you do not find it there already).

If no: Please upgrade to the latest Version of the module.

Happy DNNing!
Michael

I have the same issue when click on "Manage". I downloaded the repository from Codeplex ready to install. Not sure how to download the "last release" from Github since the size is 30MB zipped.

compiling the WIKI latest version is a little out of my realm of experience. I see that there are lots of updates to master code. But don't know how to proceed. Some guidance would be appreciated. Or i will be forced to put this upgrade on the back burner for awhile.
