Hello! I am porting content from wordpress to dnn, and while I realize they are very different platforms, there are two fields that exist in both, so I'm wondering what I have to do to get the author of the article and the featured image? Any help is appreciated!

You'll likely want to reach out to the creators of xBlog to determine what their database structure is. The author info may simply need to be imported as a new User in DNN and tied that way.
