Sorry if this has been answered previously, but I can't seem to find it.

I just upgraded my site to the 3.10.04 Forum module. THEN I discovered that the blog capability had been removed. Whoops!

What has become of my previous blog (created with Forums/Blog v3.10.01) on my site? Is the content still there, even though I can no longer see the blog module on the page? Can I retrieve my blog entries at some point in the future?

Thanks in advance!

Yes, your old blog posts are still in the database, you just cannot show them anymore. The first release of the new DNN Blog module will offer an upgrade path for blog posts from the old Forums/Blog module

cheers,

Whew! That's a relief! Guess I won't assume the next upgrade is a minor/bug-fix-only upgrade.

Thanks!

WHairstonLOI, I really tried to let users know about this ahead of time.  For future reference, please see the readme.txt in each release prior to install just to be aware of any possible problems. (Not singling you out I am sure this happend to others)

As for the upgrade, I have tested this out and it worked great.
