ok, I hate to ask such a beginner question, but I'm new to DotNetNuke.  I down loaded the blog source and need to import it into DNN so that I can modify it to meet my client's specific needs.  I've seen other threads where others are getting the same error message that I am, but they're quickly told to use the install version instead of the source.

So I ask you, how do you use the source?  I'd obvously like to take advantage of what's out there as opposed to recreating it file by file.  Please help.

Thanks in advance!

Like almost all other DNN core modules, the blog module is also still a DNN 3 / ASP.NET module. This means that if you want to use the source, you have to be running it in a DNN 3 / ASP.NET 1.1 environment, and you have to use VS2003 for it. You can however, run the modified module in any DNN 4 / ASP.NET 2.0 environment...
