Hi, is there anyway I can reinstall a DNN database from scratch e.g. the script totally deletes all files in the database and then reinstalls all the tables etc

I tried going http://www.mysite.com/install/install.aspx but this did not do a reinstall.

I then tried going into the database and deleting all the tables / stored procs etc manually and running the install routine by browsing to the url above. This had a problem running the SqlDataprovider script and failed.

I am unable to just delete/ recreate the database unfortunately.

Thanks
Markus

Markus,

the eassiest way is to kill the database, recreate it and add the permissions. Afterwards you will need to place all module packages into /install/module folder, so they get re-installed.
