Goran, the way this is intended to work is w/the "Small" template...so in the settings, select "Small" as the template/stylesheet.  What this does is implement a template that can be used in the right or left pane of DNN to just show a simple calendar...when the "Disable Month Cell" is selected with the Small template, dates with events will be highlighted (in red).  Selecting the date in a cell will then take you to the "Days Events list"...this list is derived from the "List" item settings...  Many folks wanted a "Small Calendar" that did not take up the whole page and would allow user's to select a date to view the days events rather than take up more real estate on the page and slow performance by viewing the day's events below a month view...we felt this was the best compromise.

Hi ,

OK it makes sense, although I would vote to decuple look and feel from functionality itself.

One more thing:
I selected "Disable Month Cell" and selected the Small template. If a  day is containing more events, when I click on that particular date only one event is displayed in the list, and not all events...can you check it?

All together - GREAT WORK!

Thanks a lot

Goran

I made what I think are the last changes to the Beta Version and re-tested...these last few changes had to do w/Date-Time localization...mainly in the Notification Scheduling.  I plan on submitting this version to the Module Release and Certification process tonight.  This will be the last version that supports DNN 3...from here on out we will put up a roadmap for module improvements and migration to a ASP.NET 2.0 version.  I'll post a Thread and solicite opinions...thanks everyone for your help in testing!

Alan,
I'm very much looking forward to the new official release.  Not quite skilled enough to trust myself with Beta stuff yet.  Could you give me the super quick explanation of the Module Release and Certification process?  How long could that take before I'm able to install the official version?
Thanks!
Jeff

Hi Alan,

Been doing a bit more testing of the latest events beta (03.03.05), mainly PayPal enrollments, and everything is looking really good. Thanks for all of your hard work.

However, I may have found one issue/bug if you set the default module view to be the only view. Basically, if you click My Enrollments and there is only one view enabled there is no way to return to view the events (because View Month, View Week, and List Events are not visible) and you get stuck on the My Enrollments page (even if you logout) which is very confusing. The only way I have been able to get back to the normal view when this happens is to restart IIS. Hope this helps fixing the problem.

Thanks

Not sure if I'm to late for this, but any chance I can get involved with the beta testing effort?

Do you use Oracle?  Then try GoldFish.Net

Get it from CNET Download.com!

Hey favance, just downloaded the lastest version 03.03.05 and am getting an error message when the module displays.  I uninstalled the previous Beta version 03.03.02 and did a fresh installation of 03.03.05..everything installs properly without any errors.  Any idea what may be causing this problem?  Thanks so much for this module and your help!
