I use the latest gallery download and it works fine (on DNN4.4.1) but for the fact that when I edit pictures on my localhost with a different HTTP Alias then when connecting from the internet, pictures will only be visible in the local host alias. I can workaround this by logging in via internet and then refresh the album, but then it is the other way round: I can't see the pictures anymore in the localhost environment.

I dont know if your issue is related to mine but my portalalias is domain.com and when i navigate into an album from www.domain.com the URL in the browser navigates to domain.com/<etc.etc.>.aspx when it should be navigating to www.domain.com/<etc.etc.>.aspx.

Does the Gallery module use the portalalias directly? Why is the Gallery module using to browse that other modules aren't?

The first time someone goes to the gallery module it caches the URL of the images to be used later.  And when the module is accessed from a different URL, it still gives the cached URL's to the pictures.

I looked at the code and it is a bit more than a quick fix to fix this.  So, sorry, at the moment it is a known bug with no workaround.

Hello, I was just wondering if you have fixed the code bug yet to date?  I was going to start looking at the code unless you have already found and fixed the error.  Thanks!

no.. havn't had a chance to fix it yet..  Its more involved as you need to fix the caching mechanism,... or just not cache that part of URL.
