Good call... I had already thought of that ....but it did not help.

What's really confusing is that this issue has happen on two seperate installs. The first was to my development box...Windows XP SP2, IIS5, w/ local SQL 2005 Express. After trying for 2 days to fix, I gave up and installed to one of my Dell servers. It's a clean box (nothing is running on it yet), W2K3 Enterprise, IIS6, w/ local SQL 2005 Express. Both boxes are exhibiting the exact same symptoms. I'm stumped! I've been using DotNetNuke for several years now without any major issues, but this issue really has me stumped! I created a bug ticket last week but I have not seen it posted or addressed yet!

Thanks for the input.

Dave D.

Same issue here...Win2003 box with SQL Express/VWD.  Developed site on a laptop with same dev environment.  Upgraded dev machine to 4.4.1 and everything went smooth.  Was able to login in successfully.  I then transferred the site to my production server, copied the machine key info.  Site comes up fine but I cannot login in.  I tried searching these forums using the search feature, but no results were displayed.  In fact, I never get any results displayed using the search feature.
