Hi,

I find a werid problem.
If I insert some simple text to HTML/TEXT control, like 'aaa','bbb'. It is fine.
While a insert some long (not so long) to the control, there is a crash.

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. ---> System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.ExecuteReader(CommandBehavior cmdBehavior, RunBehavior runBehavior, Boolean returnStream) at System.Data.SqlClient.SqlCommand.ExecuteNonQuery() at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteNonQuery(SqlConnection connection, CommandType commandType, String commandText, SqlParameter[] commandParameters) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteNonQuery(String connectionString, CommandType commandType, String commandText, SqlParameter[] commandParameters) at Microsoft.ApplicationBlocks.Data.SqlHelper.ExecuteNonQuery(String connectionString, String spName, Object[] parameterValues) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.SqlDataProvider.UpdateHtmlText(Int32 moduleId, String desktopHtml, String desktopSummary, Int32 userID) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.HtmlTextController.UpdateHtmlText(HtmlTextInfo objText) at DotNetNuke.Modules.Html.EditHtml.cmdUpdate_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

I have set the SQL time out to long enough and the text is not so long. Do you have any idea? It happened from a certain day.

Thank you so much.

AFAIK this related to a timeout of the web server while waiting for the database. Check, if the database server is too slow, try to truncate its log file, check, that the server has enough memory.
