Unfortunately I didn’t think to design the module for jobs left running for long periods.  The Batch files I run take a few seconds mostly. Up to 30 seconds and still everything is Okay for me.

However, I think it would be a good idea to set a time limit.

This doesn’t look too hard to do (famous last words).

Here is an example that closes a process if it is still running after 10 seconds.  I'll have to try out the ".refresh" and see what happens as you go out beyond a few minutes.  If anyone has already done this, your comments are welcome.

So if you’re interested I’m open for any suggestions or feedback.  I would be glad to make some minor modifications if you want to experiment with a timed version.
