Thanks Leupold - That helps a lot.
On the same subject is there a way to allow registered users to add to the UDT without exposing the settings menu's ?

if you grant edit permission for the module ( not the page!) the user will not be able to call the settings page.

Thanks again Leupold.  I tried this and it gets half way.
My requirement is for registered users to be able to add to the table and whilst I can live with exposing all the edit UDT pages I can find no way to loose the Manage UDT page from users - I can maybe trust them with Edit any line but not the Manage option.
Put another way the only option I want Reg users to have is the Add New Row.  Then I can use UDT and wait for Edit permissions updates.
In any case Thanks very much - I continue to be amazed at DNN and bow in your general direction.
