Mike,
Just as an FYI: Before the view dropdown was added for module editors, there was NO way for an editor to access expired or pending announcements. The purpose of that dropdown was for editors and not visitors.

FYI i have found many people wanting the same "feature." I am posting here because I now need it. I can make the changes to the code... I just need the source. I will port it over to a new name space to avoid conflicts etc....... I just need the module w/ all related source, if possible. Thanks!

I'd suggest you simply use the Form & List module with custom XSLT for the output and use Filter statements to change which records are displayed. Or use a different module, like the Ventrian News module.

Mike,

Kind of you to make some alternative suggestions. It isnt for me- it is for my end users. They are use to the Announcements module and one of them started talking about the views drop downs to non editor because they supposed it was visible by everyone. I was hoping someone had the install package of the module all need and tidy. I could easily add the functionality of selectign with views are availible to users. But if that isnt possible I will go from scratch which is beyond my bandwidth for time atm. Oh well.
