John, ok. that is what I require. Basically, i want some tab links at the top and tab links at the bottom all at the root level.

Is your example done using modules or in the skin? I imagine the left/right menus are modules, but I am hoping the other menus are skin.

Is your menu SEO ? and is the file size smaller than Solpartmenu? And finally, I'd like to space my tab menu items out evenly across the page, can this be done.

Apologies for all the questions.

Thanks, I think we are getting somewhere.

The Snapsis CSS NavMenu is a server control SkinObject.  It is not a module.  You use it by placing the settings directly into your skin.

You can read more on the specifics in the Developers Guide.

Yes, Performance, SEO, Accessibility, website optimization, and using CSS instead of javascript were my main reasons for creating it over two years ago.

Recently I have added the ability to do Son Of Suckerfish menus, and it originally started by producing markup for Sliding Doors Tab Type menus.

Yes, you can set the width of of all elements in the CSS. So you could specify an even width for all items if you like.

Thanks John.

You are probably sick of my questions already... but the only thing I found in your guide that relates to what I want to do is the following:

ShowType – Used very rarely. This property was added to support using two instances of the menus on the same page as in the case when you want to display root navigation in one instance and child navigation in another, with the child instance only displaying the links for the currently active root.
**Note: This setting is only valid when using the “Tabs” NavType.

This doesn't seem to do exactly what I want. I certainly don't want to be forced to use Tabs.

If you take another look at www.VelaBlue.com i have forced the menu that I want for an example, however, I've done this using <a href>  in the actual skin - which I don't want to do!

Thanks for your patience.

You probably have read this recently post , which is about using 2 instances of Solpart (wrapped by another module). I thought this might be what you are looking for:

Yes I have seen that thread. But I was hoping to change to a SEO menu anyhow.

I wonder if it can wrap around other menus?
