good day! I am kind of shy to bug the people who have helped me earlier so I would like to throw the question to others and I hope you could help a newbie.

scenario: employee enters a main portal, then clicks on my portal (dotnetnuke). main portal throws encrypted string of employee info(logged in employee in main portal). now questions are:

1. where in dotnetnuke core code should tweak to receive this encrypted string so I could also decrypt it?

2. in subsequent pages in dotnetnuke, Id like to pass a parameter I got from the encrypted string, say.... employee Id. I'll be using this to change query string in a module that will query a different database other than the DNN core database and then display on screen (sqlgridselectedview module, btw, its really cool). so How do I do this? what code should I go?

Thanks very much for letting me bug you sirs. Would appreciate your unsolicited help!

John
