I am very interested in the release of the security patch information as I am all too aware of one of the security risks......

Mitchel, do you have an idea if the release date is soon? I am holding on two of my website (both new), but looks like I can't anymore...

Thanks...

I know nothing more than anyone else does here.  It appears that information is not all that robust at this time, however, upgrading to 4.5 is a MAJOR desire of mine due to a few security items that I know about...

Alfonso,

All joking aside.  If you have a pressing need to get sites published you should go ahead and use 4.4.1.

It is a great release, and not only can you have it now, it is also stable and performs well.

When 4.5 does release, my advice would be to wait a few weeks for the first point release.

After that, upgrading should be really easy.

Thanks Mitchell,

By the end of Monday (4/9) I 'must' to have a site configured and running, and populated (content loaded)  by Thursday(4/12).  I defined this dates a month ago!...do you remeber the domino's effect...

My 'small' problem is I need to port an AJAX solution (Graphs and Histograms) for one of my sites...I start to looking how include it in the 4.4.1 version (getting close)..., but in dnn 4.5 is given. Now I am doing a trade-off...wait and use dnn 4.5 at my own risk, or keep figuring out how to do it with 4.4.1 and later on upgrade to the dnn 4.5.x.  (The good think is the AJAX solution can wait two weeks)... but not the site.

I remember when 4.4.0 came out, right after that a patch was required. The release process for this version have been longer (three release candidates!), so I assume that the new version will be stable (I hope so).

Maybe is better to turn off the computer, sorry, the internet... for a couple of day.

Cheers,
Alfonso
