I was just wondering if there was any update on the 4.5 release.  The last blog said this week, but I haven't seen any follow-up.  Just wondering, I totally agree that a more stable release is more important then getting the "cool" tools out to the public.

Anyone hear anything new about the release date?

Same curiosity...The last version DNN 4.5.0 RC (#3) was released the last Thursday, so you need to wait at least 1 week more (probable 2 weeks)

I can hold-on my website deploy for a week, but not two... DNN Team are you confident that end of this week the new core will be released?. 'No Rush', but if you need more time, that´s ok, I will apply Plan B (sorry, but I need AJAX)

An ETA for dnn 4.5.0 will be very welcome, I'm pretty sure that you are getting closer and closer to release a stable version.

Thanks,
Alfonso

sorry, but the core team needs the beta phase to identify issues in order to provide you with a stable version. For example, just today has been identifed a broken core module due to a core change, which needs to be examined.
