I visited your site, and every time it tried redirecting me to the IP url - I manually replaced the IP in the address bar with www.bcrzone.com.

I logged in as host and checked the portalalias table - seems ok to me.

My guess is its how your Server is set up to resolve the url, and .NET (and hence) DotNetNuke is receiving the IP Url, and that DNN never sees the domain name (only the IP).

Ok, I am having the same trouble. I have entered the hostname of my machine, both the dns and IP address into the portalalias table and I still get a page can not be displayed. I can see it from localhost and I can browse the error htm pages withing the directory.

My DNS server has a simple host (A) record for www - which is my external IP address. That is easy to understand. How is DNN picking up the local IP address through .net? Can I force it to use my correct URL instead? Have you seen this before and do you have any ideas on how to fix it??

Thanks,

What happens if you remove the IP address from the list of Portal Aliases?

Also do you have Friendly Urls "on" or "off" - see the Host Settings in the Host menu.
