Sebastian,

You're obviously on top of this, just wanted to make sure you were seeing what I was seeing and based on the additional requirements you listed, you obviously are as well as additional requirements. I look forward to seeing what you release.

The UDT has so much going for it already and can easily be coverted into a number of great other modules without much additional effort. You've done a great job getting it to this stage.

Make Portal,

I don't have an additional module. I haven't written a single line of code to do what I mention above... I just went into the Module Definition for the User Defined Table module and added a new definition as described above.

Hi Sebastian,

Figured I'd play with this and a way of doing this is to add a New Definition to the UDT module, I called it UDT Forms, with only one control (Key: [blank], Title: UDT Form, Source: EditUserDefinedTable.ascx). Then you add a new module to a page... two seperate modules will actually be added to the page, one for Viewing Data and one for Submitting records and you can set visibility however you like through module settings...

Haven't fully tested it yet but it looks like it might meet my needs for now.

I tried this, but the "forms" part of it (EditUDT.ascx) didn't get the updated columns when I set up the UDT initially...

Did you ever get this to work ?
Should it work like this ?
