I guess it took me longer to get to the tipping point where I felt productive than I would have liked - but now that I have, I think it was worth it.
It's not the kind of module you turn your end users loose on. You get somebody good at it, and others come to her/him for higher level form needs.
For the kind of form module end users can make sense of - and which is still very capable - I like Form Master.
But all this is somewhat OT. I do think that with EF's current features, and using a bit of javascript for doing weghting / scores - that it could work nicely for a quiz. I'll give it a try sometime, I'm sure ...
Not engaging in software war, either - just stating what I believe to be the case. The brick-wall complexity of EF could be better balanced with intuitive usability, no doubt about it. But once the swelling on the forehead goes down, it is rather an interesting and very useful tool.
thanks sir michael for the efforts of introducing EF to us. I hope it does work towards my needs. that is, if the quiz module of one of our friends here would finish first and would be implimented fine... but do you thing sir michael, with my given requirements, the one I posted before this, could be supported by EF? is EF work as VB.net forms as well?? thanks for the help sir.

Guys, do you happen to know also of a module or a way to auto-register new users to dotnetnuke? I was helped already on auto-login of users, where in a users info are passed from a main portal to my portal and then checked against an existing user account in the users table of the dotnetnuke database. is there a way to automatically register a new user on the fly? thanks!
