well if you can afford it it sounds like you might want to look at the first of those - of course you could always call them and ask if you could play with a copoy on their system

Ps.

Guys, do you happen to know also of a module or a way to auto-register new users to dotnetnuke? I was helped already on auto-login of users, where in a users info are passed from a main portal to my portal and then checked against an existing user account in the users table of the dotnetnuke database. is there a way to automatically register a new user on the fly? thanks!

What do you mean by auto-register new users - i do some of this

sir famdylan,

thank you for your concern on the matter... please find auto-register thread that I started so you could further help me with this discussion... http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/118/threadid/129833/scope/posts/Default.aspx

I need a way (code, or module) to register a user on my dotnetnuke site, without him/her going to the register page and registering himself/herself. because, this user is already logged in in a main site. then that user clicks on a link to my site (note, my dotnetnuke site is not a child site of the main site. )  then the main site passes parameters that i will use to auto-login the user. but then, if the user is not yet a member of my dotnetnuke site, he/she will not be logged in...

so sir, I need auto register. so the user will be registered, and then will be redirected to my site, and be automatically logged in. =P

thanks sir, would appreciate it if you could give me something, i've been working on it for two weeks. please reply on my thread so as not to disturb this thread. thanks very much!

P.S.

what's the news about the quiz module?

We recently purchased QuizPro and it is a very complete module.  There are some caveats though.  The codebase is designed to restrict reporting on a quiz to the user who created it, but in 4.5.1, only the host account sees that menu.  They are working with me, but this has been going on for a few weeks.  This is a deal killer for me, as I do not want to use the host account to create all the quizzes.

If they fix this issue, then it will be good.  Handles random questions, true/false multiple choice, has the ability to have a certificate upon passing and more.  You can go to their site and download a fully functioning demo to test out.

Quiz Pro update.  They have update the module to be compliant with 4.5.1 and it is now working for me.  Really this is the most fully-featured quiz module out there.  Mor expensive than most, but I am now happy with it.
