Howdy,

I am having some configuration issues I believe and could use some guidance.

Version: Clean Install of 4.5
Issue: Text/HTML Editor is not the same as previous versions, I believe in the previous version I was using FCKEditor. When I click Insert/Edit Image Image Properties box comes up. I click Browse Server (I'm guessing this is where the image gallery shows up?) I get the following Error

A critical error has occurred.
String cannot be of zero length. Parameter name: oldValue

Few questions.
1. Is this something that is fixed with 4.5.1?
2. If it is, as I've never done an actual Upgrade is there any info or where do I do this? (Can I upload the upgrade version similar to installing a skin or module?)
3. In order to use the Image Gallery feature that is is in the FCKEditor Is this something that I should have configured in my web.config before I installed it? 
4. What would be the steps to follow to implement the FCKEditor instead to allow for the ImageGallery feature it has? (I have multiple sites running version 4.5 would prefer to just make a change/modification as opposed to re-install as it would be good practice.)

Any suggestions or information would be helpful.

DNN 4.5.x now uses FCK editor as default HTML editor.

  1. There has been issues in 4.5.0 with the editor and the gallery, therefore I suggest to upgrade.
  2. You can follow these instructions perform the upgrade.
  3. no, this is included in updated release.config
  4. you can install latest FCKEditor provider in previous DNN versions, following the installation instructions included.

I found the thread in the FCKProvider forum section right after I posted that :D hah  but I haven't made any modifications.
