I was on WH4L for serveral years. They are luck of the  draw. As long as you get them to move your site to a new server every six months then you may have good luck. I went to ServerIntellect a couple of years ago on their Shared plan and now I have a VPS with them that I love.

My time with webhost4life was short-lived; sure, the sites hosted there were snappy from time to time...when the I didn't receive the "Service Unavailable" errors.  ;) I liked the one-click native backups and shrink, but I was down more than up, it seemed.  I got a lot of complaints for my site being "sloooowwwwww" from many.

Mitchel sold me on 3Essentails and I have nothing but praise for them so far...customer support is awesome.

I have been struggling with Webhost4life on my DNN site.  Load times are extrememly slow.  In some caes resulting in a timeout.  I reported it to the help desk and they said they moved me to a less busy server.  That fixed it for a while but then it deteriorated again.

I have not been able to create portals and have gone back and forth with the help desk for 4 weeks.  It appears they do not understand DNN and can not provide a resolution to a seeminly simple problem.

I am now looking around to move my DNN site to another hosting provider.

Any suggestions?

I agree with you completly.  They play a game that is very subtle.  While they claim to have high uptime, they reset IIS repeatedly throughout the day to free up system resources.  I run a shopping cart system on my web site.  each time Webhost4life does a reset the users loose the contents in their shopping cart and have to login again.

This is very frustrating to customers.

Hello guys!

I have now just renewed my hosting with Webhost4life. It's more than a year now and i have liked their services. They provide good support.

Also Provide automatic installations for both ASP.Net/PHP popular scripts..

I have hosted around 6-7 websites under one account. I am using Advance Plan.

I have 2 dotnetnuke websites running. One is www.giansagar.edu.in

Another is www.jakeswines.com (this one's under construction.)

I have subscribed to Host Tracker. Last week my website showed 100% uptime. And this wasn't the first time.

Apart from this i have tried Brinkster but that is not good for SQL/ASP.Net applications. So, i shifted to WebHost4Life

Rest is upto you if you want to try them or not.
