I just visited your siteand the load time was about 30 sec. Ouch. I also do the same as you: freelance with a few sites running off of a WH4L DNN installation (4.4.0). I'm looking to upgrade to 4.5.1 soon. Hopefully that will resolve some performance issues. (I'll also try the page blaster from snapsis.)

Thanks for the heads up.  But I just went to all of the sites I have running on a the single DNN instance for my site in my signature and the each loaded in 5 seconds or less.  Hmmm... 

Just in case, I just reanabled GZIP.  I also probably have some cached info in my browser.  I haven't yet tested the download details for a fresh page request from DNN, but I'd imagine the first page request is a hefty one.

I am going to try later with this (I love this tool):

Note that there is basically no point in enabling whitespace filter with compression switched on.
