anything non-default about the installation? you mentioned turning compression off, disabling PageBlaster ..

have your tried recycling the application since making those changes? maybe it's a cache issue? how about Ajax? have you checked the box "supports partial page rendering" or any other changes to the default configuration?

Of course, every people are nice here, help me a lot, but it is awfull of not being able to release a website because of so many problems !!! Tonight, I will wait your 03.01.12 and go to bed, or I will become crazy !!!! I work on it the whole day...

Steve, look at my post 1/5/2007 10:08:19
(I have the SAME problem on a new fresh install 4.5.1 - without anything else than standard DNN - I talked about PageBlaster, compression etc at the very beginning, when I was talking of my prod site. Now that I have also tested to re-install everything from scratch, I still have the problem...)

PS:  And this fresh install has been tested by few people (other computer)

I'm truly sorry for the problems you are having.

You have mentioned testing a few different scenarios, upgrade, new install, etc.  Are ALL these tests being done on the same web server ( host  ) ?

I'm a little confused, because 3.01.10 of the Repository use the same core upload/download functions as the core file manager does.

Since you say the core file manager works ok, can you try uploading a file through the repository, then try to download that exact same file using the file manager? I would be interested in trying to isolate the problem to either the upload process or the download process.

If necessary, I could get you a pre-release version of 3.01.12 that you can test, but to be honest, the upload/download code has not changed from 3.01.10.

Hello Steve,

Thanks a lot for taking the problem with serious, I am sincerely desesperate, I work on my site the whole day, and no success tonight...
I have opened the website, so no more login required: http://declic-video-fx.com/Hollywood-FX/Free-HFX.aspx (and you can check ALL file < 30 ko)

Yes, everything is tested on the same hosting provider server. UltimaHost. Could it be linked to my hosting provider ???? Not being allowed to download files lower than 30 ko ??? But in such case, downloading files from file manager should not work neither. And... it works !! I do not have any other hosting provider, and untill now, it gives me FULL SATISFACTION, very good support, customer support, etc...
I have tried to download THE SAME file than the one in my repository (131xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.hfz), from the file manager, and it works, I can download it without any problems !

For me, the problem is on the DOWNLOAD with REPOSITORY, for sure. If I FTP the file to my computer, it is ok. If I download the file using file manager, it is ok ==> download problem with repository.

Anything I can try ??? (tomorrow morning, because it is 11:44 PM here...)
