Hi Timo, I read the thread you mentioned but the link to the example seeems dead - do you happen to have another example, especially on the HTML part of the template? TIA!

Hi again, I just downloaded a Housemenu module from

http://houseofnuke.com/Default.aspx?grm2id=4&tabid=406

and installed it using DNN 4.x admin but it doesn't show up in DNN's module list. How do I use it with user controls .ascx?

TIA, Pieter

OK, I just made it a step further, by specifying this in the page template

<%

@ Register TagPrefix="dnn" TagName="HOUSEMENU" Src="~/DesktopModules/HouseMenuSkinObject/HouseMenuSkinObject.ascx" %>

This works without DNN complaining, and can now insert the housemenu tag:

<

dnn:HOUSEMENU runat="server" ID="dnnHOUSEMENU" />

But where do I set the housemenu attributes? They don't appear in the Intellisense in VS.NET 2005. The readme.txt says in an XML file but what should be its name and where should I place it? If anyone can help me out here, that would be just great!

TIA, Pieter

Sorry, the example website has been moved temporarely, this is another link to the same page.

The housemenu I use is a skinobject, you set the options by just defining them in the skin.

An example:

<DNN:HOUSEMENU1 id="dnnHOUSEMENU1" runat="server" ShowParentTab="false" IsRecursive="False" ShowAdmin="True" Scope="-1" CssElementId="HMMainMenu" ShowPageIcons="True"></DNN:HOUSEMENU1>

Have a look ath the HM documentation, it explains all the options
