I am using this service and it does seem to help.  I also turned compression back on.

This has helped quite a lot.  Is there any way this solution can be posted. I have read many posts haveing to do with intial load or slow sites.  I bet this would help many who are using shared hosting accounts.

Shared Hosts do not like this solution.

The reason is because they want to stuff as many accounts on one server as possible.  If sites that are not visited are able to "spin down" and give up their resources (memory mainly) then they can put more accounts on one server.

If all the accounts keep their sites alive then they will soon run out of memory, especially with DotNetNuke.

So the moral is, if you are on a shared host and this solution works for you, then you may want to keep it a secret, because if everyone finds out then you will all be fighting for that memory again.
