Hi,

I need to sync my database and file system (in my DNN4.5.1 install) recursively, regularly. I have enabled the "DotNetNuke.Services.FileSystem.SynchronizeFileSystem, DOTNETNUKE" scheduled task, and tells me it is working successfully. However in a reports query I have running, it is not picking up new files I place in the /Portals/0/MyFolder/MySubFolder/.

Why might this not be working?

Cheers =),
tristan.

+ more information;

A look at my event log shows no entries for Scheduler Event Failure, or Scheduler Exception. However it also shows no entries for Scheduler Event Completion...

It does show purple entries for Scheduler Started and Scheduler Stopped.

Any ideas? Could it be my host's configuration not allowing the file system to be read?

You would think that it would error out if there was a permissions issue.  Have you looked at the scheduler history to see if it shows completion for the sync operation?

I have. It all indicates it should be working. But my query of the directory table of the database is not showing up new files when they're added.

you did not enable "Auto-Sync File System? " in host settings, did you? AFAIK this disables the scheduler job.
