Read the microsoft reference closely... The format is different depending on what .net framework version you are using.

You were right it wanted seconds only.  This did not solve the problem though,  The default is 110 secons I made it 180, I also timed the start and stop of the upload and the error came before 3 minutes were up. 

This is now occuring on 2 different servers, again there is no posted to the log when this happens and it appears to happen on uploads only.  If they are on dial-up they can have trouble with a file 512kb large.   Broadbands seem to be able to handle up to about a 5meg file before they start getting time outs., often they can re-start and it will make it the second time.  This is not true fo the Dial Up customers.

All help would be appreciated.
