I have a Links module with several links in them, and it is being displayed as a dropdown on a certain page. I am then trying to use the same module (using 'Add Existing Module') on several other pages. However, everytime it is imported into the new page, it is initially displayed as a 'list', although the page from which it is imported has it set as a dropdown... anyone know why this is happening? I have to add this same module to around 50 pages or so, and couldn't think of an easy way to do it... and it kinda gets tedious, having that additional step of changing it from List to Dropdown.

any help would be appreciated.

That's because the Links module doesn't import/export module settings, only the links.

Run this query against your database, and all the Links will be Dropdowns....

UPDATE TabModuleSettings SET TabModuleSettings.SettingValue = "D"
WHERE (((TabModuleSettings.SettingName)="linkcontrol") AND ((TabModuleSettings.SettingValue)="L"));
