I got a call today from one of the clients we support who reported that the links on various pages seemed to be leading them to the wrong places. So, not sure what was going on, I browsed to the site, and sure enough, you click on a link that worked a couple days ago, and it takes you to a completely different page. Here's a specific example.

The pages below still retain their unique urls, however the Brian Coyle page seems to have had all of its content panes overwritten with the data from the Ways to Work content panes. I'm not sure how this could have happened. Has someone encountered this issue before? Suggestions? Thanks for the help,

Brian Coyle

Is it possible when someone setup the Ways To Work page they copied the modules from the Brain Coyle page, and used them by reference? If that's the case then when they modified the copied content, it would replace the modules that the content originated from.

There is a person there that maintains the site, uploads new content, etc. It's possible she could have done that, not knowing what would happen. I'll have to check with her and see if that is the case. Are there other possibilities you can think of, if that isn't what happened? I would venture to say that your guess is probably correct, but just in case...

Thanks again,

It just occured to me while I was typing up the email to send off to the maintainer there, how would they copy the modules themselves? I see no easy way to have done that, certainly she could've created the Ways to Work page using a copy of the Brian Coyle page, but I can't figure out how she could've copied the modules themselves to the Ways to Work page (I am a newbie when it comes to DNN though). If it's not too much trouble, could you explain further what you mean, so I can relay that information accordingly? Thanks again for your help,
