My office recently upgraded our version of dotnetnuke to 4.05.01 from 3.7 and some container font styles stopped working. For instance our H2 tags reverted to the default style instead of the one thats supposed to be in our site's containers.

Here's an example of CSS code that stopped working:

.contentPane .container SPAN.Normal H2 {
font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size:12px;
margin-bottom:0px;
background-color:#335566;
padding:5px;
color:#ffffff;
font-weight:bold;}

Was there any change in CSS handling between DNN version 3 and 4 that would cause this problem? Or does this sound like it caused by something else?

Thank you for any help you can give.

Is there a specific page with the problem we can have a look at?

Here's an example page:

http://www.hireabilitieshawaii.org/SelfEmployment/SelfEmploymentFAQ/tabid/67/Default.aspx

The FAQ questions that appear in big brown letters are supposed to be white letters surrounded by a blue box.

Hi,

The stylesheets al loaded correctly,it seems.

From this part:

.contentPane .container SPAN.Normal H2 {
font-family:Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
font-size:12px;
margin-bottom:0px;
background-color:#335566;
padding:5px;
color:#ffffff;
font-weight:bold;}

Remove "SPAN.Normal" and it will work again.

I checked and you are right, it looks like something has changed.

in v3 the "modulecontent" div has a span in it with class .normal.

In the newer versions this span is a div, that's why the site changed...

This appears to have fixed the problem. Thanks for your help!
