..the last thing I need is another toolbar taking up valuable screen space. This tool is too valuable to give up on though, but at the same time I'm still not able to rid myself of any additonal toolbars already present. If I could incorporate my favorites and maybe a couple of key file menu items (Refresh - Back-Forward - Address Bar), I think I would be able to rid myself of at least one toolbar that I currently have displayed. I really like the idea of some items being non-touchables (cannot delete-modify) and other items (additonal links) being customizable by the user. Is that what you meant, that the present items can't be changed? Does this mean that additonal items can't be included?
Yes, I know what you mean - I use the Google Toolbar (spell-checker is invaluable for us programmers who can't seem to spell (anyone know why that is?) and the Web Developer toolbar and now I use this one to check the core blogs and other RSS feeds. To be honest, this was actualy the reason I was going to use it for primarily, then I thought I would just add a couple of links that not many people even know exisited (navigation on the DNN mothership is sometimes tricky) and then I got carried away and started making sub catergories.
So you can customize it with gadgets that other people have written (check out the Gadgets option on the first dropdown list) and add the core windows toolbar components (for example I added the Win. calculator), but unfortunately you can't customize the links themselves.
Are there any more useful links that people think should be on there? The aim is for it to cut down time trying to find sites you use ofter (I sometimes even have to Google the more obscure ones ;) - so if it is not saving time then it is probably not worth using (or the menus need reshuffling).
